As part of Davina and Daniel’s residency in Suomenlinna during August 2009 Davina and Daniel worked with the open prison on the island. They were interested by the fact that firstly there was an open prison on a world heritage site (the whole island is a UNESCO World Heritage site) and that secondly there was little mention of it in any tourist information, despite the prisoners maintaining and caring for the whole island.

One of the projects Davina and Daniel carried out with the prison was Suomenlinna - A Place to Spend Time, in which they worked with a group of eight inmates to create a series of postcards based on the inmates perspectives of the island. The process included taking photographs of important locations to the inmates and creating island slogans. The postcards were handed out to tourists and island residents by the inmates to mark the end of the project and as intervention to break strict rules of of contact between prisoners and tourists and residents.
