Nadine and Davina paid homage to ten years of the V&A Village Fete by offering fete goers an opportunity to publicly mark their loss of the fete by creating one-off momento jewellery from their strands of hair. Nadine and Davina not only made reference to a long history of memorial jewellery, which the V&A itself has a significant collection of but also made an important note that it is the public who make the fete and therefore it is appropriate to capture a piece of them as a souvenir.
